Role Definition:
Manages a team that oversees the order to delivery supply chain to ensure availability of necessary commodities to support manufacturing or distribution. Develops, implements, and manages supply chain strategies and solutions.
Responsibilities:
•Ensure the supplier value stream performance is consistent and synchronized with Solar’s demand.
•Serve as the industry expert for a particular value stream category and develop and execute supplier sourcing strategies that support business growth and cost reduction targets while delivering year over year supplier performance improvement.
•Act as an internal consultant on the availability of future commodities and the corresponding impact on design programs.
•Identify performance gaps within the supply base and develop improvement plans for the identified gaps.
•Provide leadership through the development, mentoring and training of their team to build the best Global Supply Chain team and drive business results.
Minimum Requirements:
•Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field
•Ten years of combined experience; procurement, management, or manufacturing
Preferred Requirements:
•Master’s degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, or related field
•Fifteen years of combined experience: procurement, management, or manufacturing
•Professional certification in Purchasing and/or Inventory Management; e.g., Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.), Certified in Production, Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified in Integration Resource Management (CIRM).
•Demonstrated success developing, mentoring, training and successfully leading teams, including excellent communication, organizational planning, and interpersonal skills.
•Certification in 6 Sigma as a Black Belt or Master Black Belt.
•Experience in BaaN 5C or ERP LN, Windchill, and Coupa

•Works with other functions and customers to coordinate contingency and disaster recovery planning.

Contracts Management and Administration:
Knowledge of policies, standards and processes of how to manage and administer contracts; ability to use proper processes and practices for managing and administering a variety of contractual agreements.
Level Working Knowledge:
•Administers locally relevant contracts for the department.
•Implements organizational protocols and procedures for contracts management.
•Explains the types of information required before a contract is signed.
•Reviews contracts to ensure compliance with contract specifications and regulations.
•Assists in creating files of relevant information for specific vendors, customers, or contracts.
Strategic Sourcing:
Knowledge of strategic sourcing methods, technologies and processes; ability to analyze, improve and re-evaluate organizational procurement process continuously.
Level Working Knowledge:
•Works with various basic components of strategic sourcing, such as data analysis, market research and purchasing budgets examination.
•Participates in enhancing institutional sourcing process continuously including identifying improvement opportunities.
•Conducts strategic sourcing activities in a limited environment.
•Follows relevant standards, policies and practices regarding strategic sourcing.
•Assists senior sourcing professionals with strategic sourcing in multiple environments.
Supply Chain Management:
Knowledge of functions, principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and implement strategies, practices and tools for controlling the whole processes.
Level Extensive Experience:
•Quantifies and evaluates benefits and risks of various supply chain strategies and approaches.

Summary Pay Range:
$140,964.00 - $211,446.00
