Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Director is responsible for overseeing all procurement activities within the company. This role involves capital equipment purchasing and justification, supply chain management, ERP optimization and reporting of supply chain and inventory.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Strategic and management oversight of Supply Chain team and process
•Ensure appropriate and optimal purchases of needed equipment and raw materials.
•Oversee demand planning process.
•Manage inventory control processes and systems and ensure compliance with policies.
•Establish and nurture relationships with new and existing vendors to expand the company’s supply base.
•Ensure compliance with international regulations for supply chain and purchasing, including evaluation of tariffs and
•Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of required
•Ensure accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data, including evaluation of Days in Inventory
•Develop and implement strategies to improve purchasing processes and reduce costs.
•Manage and develop purchasing and inventory team members.
•Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all supply chain activities.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
•Business Administration, Accounting or other Technical Degree.
•At least 5 years previous Supply Chain Management experience.
•Prior management experience.
•Previous experience working with an EPR system and NetSuite.
•Proficient with MS Office programs
•Superior organizational skills; strong attention to detail; excellent time management skills and commitment to
