We have an opportunity for an Supervisor, Production to join our Centerra Langeloth team. This position is an onsite role based in Langeloth, PA, with responsibility for coordinating all activities within the plant production department.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise a team of production employees.
- Assign and monitor tasks.
- Implement production schedules and plans to meet production goals.
- Monitor production metrics and adjust processed as needed.
- Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications through regular inspections and quality checks.
- Promote a culture of safety within the plant by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock and coordinate with supply chain team to ensure timely deliveries.
- Monitor production costs and implement cost saving measures where possible without compromising quality or safety.
- Identify training needs for employees and arrange training as necessary.
- Maintain clear and effective communication with other departments.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities.
The following will be critical to successfully performing this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of production processes, machinery, and quality control principles.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices.
- Previous experience in production or manufacturing environment.
