Production Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory operations and possess mechanical knowledge to ensure efficient production processes. Duties

- Supervise daily operations on the assembly line, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining quality standards.

- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

- Oversee the use of hand tools and power tools in the assembly process, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.

- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, performing basic maintenance as needed to prevent downtime.

- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency within the warehouse.

- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and supplies, coordinating with procurement as necessary.

- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste in manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or factory setting.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using various hand tools and power tools.

- Familiarity with assembly line processes and warehouse operations is essential.

- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not required.

- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality production outcomes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.65 per hour
