- 3 - 5 years manufacturing supervisory experience preferably in a unionized facility.
- Pro-active demonstrated safety management experience and training a definite asset.
- Formal technical or business education is an asset.
- Previous experience in decentralized maintenance, TPM, or Overall Equipment Efficiency an asset.
- Knowledge of continuous improvement, Kaizen, and familiarity with Lean manufacturing an asset.
- Solid PC skills are required including general knowledge of Work and Excel.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, team building, conflict resolution, and effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Considerable initiative and the ability to contribute to team success with proven management and leadership skills.
- Proficient in multi-tasking a number of projects.
