If you are a
Productionprofessional looking for an opportunity to grow, Copeland has an exciting opportunity for you! Based out of our
Kennesaw, GAlocation, you will oversee and manage the daily operations of the Configuration and The Panel Shop departments, ensuring safety, efficiency, quality, production & plan adherence. You will be responsible for the safety of our colleagues, following the schedule, troubleshooting issues, delegating tasks, and maintaining compliance with regulations. You will monitor performance, train employees, and strive to optimize production processes, utilizing tools such as Lean and 5S. A high degree of detail is required and you must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment, and foster teamwork with effective communication and leadership.
As a Production Supervisor, You Will
- Enforce safety procedures, conduct safety audits, and maintain a safe work environment.
- Supervise and coordinate production activities, including resource allocation and workflow management.
- Monitor production processes to ensure they meet established quality standards.
- Identify and resolve issues that arise during the production process to minimize downtime.
- Lead and motivate production teams, delegate tasks, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Analyze production data and identify areas where efficiency can be increased.
- Train and mentor production staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and company policies.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and records.
- Work with other departments (e.g., Cargo, Shipping, Stock Room, Materials, Maintenance) to optimize production.
- Two years related experience and/or training
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. Occasional bending, lifting, and climbing steps.
- Can work with numbers accurately and possess good organizational skills
- Computer skills including ERP systems, MS Office, E-mail, and current Windows OS.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
- Various hours within Monday – Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm (plus overtime when needed)
- Overtime, including Saturdays, as required to meet business demands
