We’re looking for a Field Summer Student to join our all-star team to support our Peace Arch Assets. We’re looking for:

What you’ll do:

Here is a sample of what your workdays may look like:

- Wash and paint floors, barricades, pipes, and other surfaces.

- Work with the operations team to assist in WHMIS labelling and gain experience in workplace safety.

- Maintain the grounds by mowing grass and keeping the area looking great.

- Install and maintain culvert markers to improve safety and accessibility around the site.

- Update and replace road signs, ensuring right-of-way markings are clear and accurate.

- Help with boneyard clean-ups and make sure everything is stored safely and efficiently.

- Clean beneath grating in compressor buildings, ensuring these hard-to-reach areas are spotless and contribute to maintaining a safe, well-organized work environment.

- Collaborate with the operations team to organize and clean sea cans and workspaces.

- Help maintain clean, well-organized workshops and storage areas.

- Verify, clean, and organize inventory for key items like blinds, flanges, and drip trays.

- Organize and maintain barrel docks, ensuring they’re ready to support day-to-day operations.

- Perform minor fencing repairs.

What you bring:

Required

- Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or diploma program.

- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.

- Basic safety knowledge.

- Basic tool knowledge.

Preferred

- Proficient in the use of MS Office applications.

Salary Range:

$43,680 - $60,320. Final compensation for this position will be determined based on the students field and year of study.
