About This Job

Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canada’s only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 890,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta, British Columbia and Washington state.

Trans Mountain also operates a state-of-the-art loading facility, Westridge Marine Terminal, with three berths providing tidewater access to global markets.

As the

Edmonton Operations (Field) , Summer Student

with Trans Mountain, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a progressive and fast-paced group of Operations experts, working with various groups to gain exposure to multiple facets of our Edmonton Operations.

This position is based at our Edmonton Terminal and will report to the Supervisor, Operations.

Duration: May 6, 2026 to August 21, 2026. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide support to the Edmonton Operations Office, Control Centre, Regional Office, and Terminal.

- Support grounds and facility maintenance for Terminal, Operations office, and Control Centre – mowing lawn, cleaning parking areas, painting, etc.

- Assist Operations personnel with surface water management, cleaning manifold area, sample cabinets, and storage tank farm bays.

- Assist Operations Administrative Assistant to complete various tasks.

- Perform inventory and organization of location materials and supplies.

- Assist facility Operations and Maintenance technicians for equipment/parts deliveries at the Edmonton Terminal.

- Assist with special projects and other duties as required.


Qualifications and Professional Experience:

- Enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution with at least one year completed.

- Experience with site and/or project work.

- Able to operate maintenance equipment (e.g., lawn mower, weedwhacker, and pressure washer).

- Working knowledge of Microsoft systems –Outlook/Word/Excel/SharePoint/Teams/Microsoft Calendar.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks as assigned.

- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.

- Self-motivated, capable of performing tasks with minimal supervision.

- Able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Attention to detail is critical.

- Ability to work well under pressure and handle strict deadlines.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Other Requirements And Information

- Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license.

- Must be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution and return to full time studies in the fall.

- This role is full-time in office and requires on-site attendance for the duration of the summer term.

The expected pay range for this position is

$24.61

to

$33.48 CAD. Application
