Reporting to: VP Finance & Asset Monitoring

Based in: Whashington, DC.

The Associate, Finance & Asset Monitoring will support the execution of structured finance transactions and asset monitoring for utility-scale solar and BESS projects across the US, working at the intersection of financial modeling, tax equity, and cross-functional coordination with legal, tax, development, construction and accounting teams.

What will you do?

- Execute complex tax equity and debt financing transactions end to end from market sounding and due diligence through to funding and post-close transition

- Build and maintain project finance models: cash flow projections, debt and tax equity sizing, returns and sensitivity analysis

- Prepare investor materials information memoranda, teasers, marketing decks

- Manage datarooms and coordinate KYC/AML documentation

- Track funding requests, monitor investor returns and support asset management post-close

- Coordinate across internal teams (tax, legal, treasury, engineering, O&M) and external parties (lenders, tax equity investors, brokers)

- Support the Bell financing and ERCOT Portfolio financings through close

- Create and manage investor marketing materials for fundraising

- Support post-close transition from structured finance to asset management

What do we need?

- 2 to 5 years in renewable energy structured finance

- Tax equity experience — strongly preferred

- Solar project finance experience — required

- BESS finance experience — a strong plus

- Strong financial modeling skills (cash flows, debt sizing, returns, sensitivities)

- Clear written and verbal communication

- Highly organized, self-starter, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment

- Bachelor's degree or higher in finance, business or engineering
