This is not an administrative role.

We're seeking a strategic thinker with management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy experience to build board presentations, coordinate high-priority initiatives, and support C-suite decision-making at BKV Corporation - a publicly traded natural gas and carbon capture company ($2B market cap, 500 employees).

What You'll Do:

You'll serve as a strategic partner to our Chief of Staff to the CEO, operating at the center of our highest-stakes initiatives:

Executive Storytelling

Build board-level PowerPoint presentations and executive narratives that drive strategic decisions. Prepare materials for Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team meetings. Translate complex business challenges into clear, actionable recommendations.

Cross-Functional Strategy Coordination

Partner with VPs and senior leaders across business units to gather insights, track critical risks, and drive alignment. Serve as a credible bridge between the CEO office and the organization.

Strategic Project Management

Design project plans, monitor milestones, manage RAID logs, and drive accountability. Conduct root cause analysis and develop solutions to complex business problems.

Research & Competitive Intelligence

Proactively research industry trends, competitive moves, and market dynamics. Build financial models and synthesize findings into concise briefs that inform executive decisions.

Who You Are:

✅

2-5 years

in management consulting (Big 4, MBB, boutique), investment banking (energy coverage), corporate strategy, or energy sector roles

✅

Bachelor's required; MBA/MPA strongly preferred

✅ Proven track record

building executive presentations that influenced major decisions

✅

Energy sector foundation

- upstream, midstream, natural gas, power generation, or CCUS experience

✅

Advanced PowerPoint & Excel/Smartsheet

proficiency

✅

Executive presence - you've partnered with VP+ leaders and earned their trust

Non-Negotiables:

You already excel at translating complex topics into compelling executive narratives. You don't need to be taught how to build a board deck - you've done it, and it drove decisions. You understand energy operations well enough to earn credibility with technical leaders.

Compensation & Growth:

💰 $108,000 - $178,000 base + 25% annual bonus

📍 Hybrid options available; remote considered for exceptional candidates

📈 Outsized career acceleration with direct CEO/C-suite visibility

✈️ ~20% travel for strategic planning and board meetings
