JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Director, Delivery reports to Head of Project Delivery & Management.
The Senior Director, Delivery oversees all technical activities relating to the delivery of architectural projects. This position works closely with the Principals, the Sr. Director, Project Management, internal technical and design staff, and consultants to ensure consistency and quality of contract documents while also managing to deliverable deadlines.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions
•Manage and coordinate staff resources scheduling for all active projects and lead weekly resources management meeting to optimize efficiency, utilization, and professional growth.
•Develop & monitor firm-wide quality and production standards in collaboration with Head of Project Management & Delivery.
•Ensures adherence with firm-wide Quality Assurance/Quality Control process and drawings standards. Expected to conduct and document Quality Control reviews of Contract documents on select projects.
•Ensures adherence with firm-wide project close-out and archiving procedures.
•Under the direction of the Head of Project Management & Delivery, identifies initiatives for improvements in productivity, efficiency, and quality in technical processes.
•Manage the coordination and overall integration of technical activities in architecture projects, including updates and improvements to the CPG Templates.
•Provide technical expertise to staff regarding building codes, sustainability, and materials.
•Provide project technical support to others during schematic design, design development, construction documentation and construction administration, while ensuring effective collaboration between internal and external project disciplines.
•Prepare and develop drawings, models, images, and other documents.
•Coordinate with manufacturers and distributors on selection and coordination of project specifications.
•Liaison with building & code officials and other consultants on code compliance for projects.
•Perform other related duties as required.
•Track personnel vacation and time off schedules in relation to pending project deadlines and their deliverables.
•Provide onboard training for new employees.
Requirements
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
•Four- or Five-year college or university program certificate in Architecture; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•10-15 years of experience in Architecture or Interior Design office required.
•Experience in managing an Architecture studio and personnel management.
•In-depth knowledge of building codes, construction documents and construction administration.

•This position requires sedentary work and prolonged periods of working on a computer.
