About This Job

Cleantap Energy has an Immediate Opening for a Flexible, Dependable and Hardworking Solar Energy Installer.

We are a Maine based, solar residential/commercial development company with a team bringing decades of experience. Outstanding people skills are a must. Working as a Team is most important to our company!

What Cleantap Enervy is looking for:

•

Two years of solar installation experience

•

Some Roofing and/or construction experience

•

Ability to operate power tools

•

Ability to work as part of a team and be open to learning new skills and taking feedback

•

OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 is requested

•

Familiarity with electrical wiring and conduit running

•

Willingness to attend training sessions on new products, installation

Responsibilities:

•

Maintain a clean and professional appearance and performance

•

Maintain a clean, safe job site and examine workplace conditions to make sure they conform to applicable OSHA standards

•

Install mounting brackets for solar panel installations on rooftops and other locations.

•

Assembly and installation of solar panels.

•

Assistance with project inventory

•

Report daily to Project Manager or Foreman

•

Doing things as requested and right the first time

•

Obtain Required certification as necessary

•

Be on time with a can-do attitude

Physical Demands:

•

Ability to safely climb a tall ladder onto a roof and walk across a roof to install brackets, panels and other equipment.

•

Work in outdoor conditions including inclement weather, heat and humidity.

•

Lift, move and install heavy material at varying heights and weights up to 50 lbs.

•

Ability to use and learn standard construction equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

•

High school diploma or trade school degree

•

1-2 years related experience

•

OR equivalent combination of education and experience

•

Basic knowledge of residential and commercial electrical and structural systems

•

Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license

•

Must be dependable and show up on time!!

Salary range is based on level of experience within the residential and commercial solar installation industry.
