Solar Technician

Responsibilities:

Always maintaining a high level of safety awareness

· Maintenance of Solar facilities by utilizing mechanical and electronic testing equipment (i.e., voltage testers, amp clamps, oscilloscopes, and various hand and power tools)

· High voltage and sub-station maintenance

· Diagnose and resolve faults on solar equipment as they relate to mechanical and electrical problems

· Perform pad mounted Transformer switching in accordance with all Lock Out / Tag Out Procedures

· Perform corrective tasks on solar equipment

· Complete EH&S Documentation, Pre-Job-Briefs, and any other necessary paperwork (work order, timesheet, tool and PPE inventory, and additional paperwork as necessary) using Maximo

· Operate grounds keeping equipment including but not limited to weed eaters and lawn movers

· Work as scheduled during the week and on call as required by manager

· Willing to travel and assist other Deriva Energy solar facilities when needed.
