We’re seeking a skilled Solar Inspection & Service Technician to join our Massachusetts team. This in-house, hourly role combines inspection and service responsibilities, ensuring solar installations meet all relevant codes and operate efficiently post-installation. You’ll play a key role in maintaining system performance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct inspections of solar panel installations to ensure compliance with NEC, local codes, and company standards
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with solar PV systems, including inverters, wiring, and monitoring equipment
- Perform corrective maintenance and repairs on residential and commercial solar systems
- Collaborate with installation and engineering teams to ensure quality and safety standards are consistently met
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, service calls, and repairs
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding system performance and service updates
- Stay current with industry regulations, safety protocols, and solar technology advancements
- Valid Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License
- Minimum 2 years of experience in solar PV installation, inspection, or service
- Strong understanding of NEC, solar installation standards, and electrical troubleshooting
- Experience with solar monitoring platforms and inverter technologies
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
