We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Permitting & Interconnection Coordinator to join our growing team. This position is based on-site at our Hamilton, NJ office and is primarily focused on data entry and managing documentation for permitting and utility interconnection applications. The ideal candidate will also communicate with Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) and utility companies to clarify requirements or resolve issues when needed.
- Prepare and submit permit and interconnection applications for solar PV systems
- Accurately enter and track data in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office tools
- Communicate with AHJs and utility providers to confirm submission requirements
- Follow up on application statuses and resolve kickbacks or revision requests
- Collaborate with project managers and other internal departments to ensure proper documentation
- Maintain organized digital records for compliance and tracking purposes
- Experience with permitting or interconnection processes preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines
