Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator who will work both in the field and in their home office to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of construction processes and software.
Duties
•Assist the Project Manager in whatever they need for the planning and execution of construction projects from inception to completion.
•Visit jobsites and building departments using employee vehicle. Mileage will be reimbursed by company.
•Coordinate project schedules, resources, and information to ensure smooth workflow.
•Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and team members.
•Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Raken for project tracking and reporting.
•Support the subcontracting process by gathering data and preparing documentation for bids.
•Monitor project progress and address any issues that may arise during execution.
•Maintain organized project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.
Qualifications
•Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., ProCore, Raken) is highly desirable.
•Familiarity with Bluebeam for document management and collaboration.
•Experience with Primavera for scheduling and project tracking is a plus.
•Knowledge of construction estimating principles is beneficial.
•Understanding of Civil 3D for site design and analysis is an advantage.
•Strong skills in blueprint reading to interpret technical drawings accurately.
•Previous experience in construction management or project coordination is preferred.
•Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
