RPB is seeking a talented, organized and experienced Permitting Coordinator to help guide and support a talented team of permitting professionals as they navigate the Western Canada's intricate telecommunications project permitting landscape.
The Permitting Coordinator possesses exceptional organizational and time management skills required to ensure the progression of a variety of project permitting requirements through their various stages of development by tracking schedule and delivery milestones from intake through to approval.
· Responsible for the establishment, maintenance, and furtherance of professional relationships with approving authority personnel and administrators with an emphasis on compliance, quality, and interest in understanding and delivering according to their requirements.
· Preparation for and active participation in design planning and progress meetings.
· Maintain ongoing, active scheduling of delivery timeline requirements, Permitting Facilitator workloads and deadlines and empower, facilitate and expedite the timeline driven submission of all projects related permits to enable the smooth transition from IFR to IFC drawing package completion.
· Responsible for updating and coordinating with responsible RPB Project Managers and Coordinators on an ongoing/as needed basis for all permitting requirements throughout entirety of design process.
· Responsible for monitoring ongoing project emails to ensure recognition, noting and action on any important milestone movements, requests, comments, critiques are understood and passed on/being actioned by responsible permit team members on a continual basis.
· Responsible for setting delivery dates, where and as required according to established timelines.
· Plan, implement, and organize permit team workload to optimize quality, efficiency, and production.
· Responsible to ensure team members understand their tasks for the week and set direction of priority levels, urgency, and importance.
· Assist management in the identification additional training needs of team members, provide training and mentorship where needed, and identify additional outside training needs where required.
· Responsible for fielding questions, comments and concerns from Permitting Facilitators and escalating for clarification and comment as necessary.
· Responsible for the administrative input, monitoring, and continual awareness of project tracking systems and documents and adjusting direction of efforts to ensure that deadlines are being met and exceeded and ensuring follow-ups for response are being conducted as required.
· Coordinate and communicate with the design team to ensure all permitting aspects of projects are accounted for.
· Assist in advancing the positive evolution of a corporate culture which fosters continual professional development and improvement amongst all team members, and which values deadline adherence and the consistency and efficiency of work products and processes, regardless of geographic locations or client identity..
