The employee in this position will interact with fellow employees, customers and sales reps within the company. The primary role will be communicate with customers and sales reps in relation to the Solar Project from start to finish. The employee will also receive and handle incoming calls, perform daily data entry and inputting as well as follow up. The employee in this position will utilize the knowledge base and case management tools for planning and coordinating assigned tasks to ensure efficient and effective operations, in accordance with customer service standards. (Reception and Administrative Tasks to be included.)
Job Duties

•Receive incoming calls and provides prompt, courteous, and accurate responses.
•Schedule solar project installations
•Schedule other work to be performed as needed
•Provide updates on job progress to customers
•Ensure job accuracy, completion and quality
•Data entry will be performed on a daily basis.
•Update the notes and status of an account when needed or requested
•Responsible to work as an information source to answer questions and follow up.
•Will adhere to policies, procedures, and practices.
•Recommends and implements new or improved systems to enhance or expedite work.
•Creates and maintains a positive, respectful work environment.
•Prioritizes assignments and completes tasks in a timely matter.
•Performs special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned and/or needed.
Job Qualifications
•Ability to plan ahead and prioritize tasks efficiently, also make decisions and take action.
•Ability to maintain professional, courteous demeanor on the phone as well as in the office.
•Computer skills/knowledge of Microsoft Office, with intermediate experience in Excel.
•Knowledge of the company, its products/services, procedures and operations.
•Knowledge of the application of instructions and guidelines to specific problems.
•Ability to instruct, direct, and evaluate tasks, and to resolve work related problems.
•Ability to answer questions and determine appropriate course of action for incoming calls.
•Ability to maintain records, complete reports/lists, and compose correspondence/emails.
•Ability to communicate effectively.
•Flexible schedule (to work an occasional weekend for a home show and/or special event)
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
•There may be stressful conditions such as size of workload and/or other specific deadlines.
•Ability to sit for extended periods of time and or lift packages 10-20lbs.
•Must be comfortable on phones
Education
•High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
•Must have at least two years customer service experience. (Solar and sales experience a plus.)
•Project management/coordination experience
Reporting
This employee reports directly to the Project Manager and Upper Management as needed or required.
