Are you passionate about social media and creating content that gets noticed? Absolute Aluminum is looking for a Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team! If you’re someone who loves engaging with audiences, staying on top of trends, and capturing exciting company moments, this is the perfect role for you!

What You’ll Do:

•

Content Capture: Get in the action by capturing video and photos in the office, from events, mascot appearances, and tradeshows to internal company moments (team meetings, announcements, etc.).

•

Content Creation & Publishing: Develop and share original photo and video content 3-5 times a week across platforms.

•

Trend Spotting: Follow and apply current social media trends to keep our content fresh, fun, and relevant.

•

Captivating Captions: Write engaging, educational, and entertaining captions that resonate with our audience.

•

Audience Engagement: Respond to comments, tags, and DMs, creating conversations and building relationships with followers.

•

Event Documentation: Attend and document mascot appearances, tradeshows, home shows, and internal company events.

•

Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing Director to develop and maintain a content calendar.

•

Support Content Creation: Help identify photo-eligible jobs and support testimonial content.

What We’re Looking For:

•

Strong knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

•

Creativity and ability to adapt to current social media trends.

•

Excellent writing skills with the ability to entertain and educate through captions.

•

Organized and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

•

Comfortable engaging with the audience in a friendly, professional tone.

•

Ability to capture high-quality photos and videos in-office, and at events.

•

Must be able to attend local events and work in-office for 20 hours per week.
