Overview
A small business restaurant is seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to grow our online presence and bring awareness to the public. We're looking for an independent individual for this freelance position, who will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our audience across various platforms, specifically Instagram and TikTok. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing trends, can create content (owner and staff can help), and a passion for storytelling through social media.
Duties
•Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
•Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) on social media platforms.
•Monitor social media channels for trends, feedback, and engagement opportunities.
•Conduct research to identify target audiences and tailor content accordingly.
•Utilize tools such as Hootsuite for scheduling posts and analyzing performance metrics.
•Collaborate with owner to align social media with overall marketing objectives.
•Engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely manner.
•Perform proofreading of all content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to brand voice.
•Capture quality photography and videos that align with brand aesthetics for use in social media posts.
•Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing and public relations.
Skills
•Proven experience in social media marketing particularly with restaurants.
•Proficiency in digital marketing techniques including advertising strategies.
•Strong research skills to analyze market trends and audience behavior.
•Excellent proofreading abilities to ensure high-quality content delivery.
•Familiarity with photography principles for creating visually appealing content.
•Knowledge of public relations practices that enhance brand reputation online.
•Experience using web analytics tools to measure performance and inform strategy adjustments.
We're easy to work with, have great food and beverages, great physical space aesthetics, and in a great area. Just need help with social media to expand awareness of the brand.

Pay: $600.00 - $1,000.00 per month
