We are seeking a highly creative, self-directed, and technically skilled Marketing & Multimedia Specialist to take ownership of our marketing communications, social media presence, and high-end multimedia production. This role plays a critical part in developing and executing our digital voice and visual identity—not only for our brand, but also for our partner organizations and clients. This individual will serve as the voice and visual storyteller of our brand—and our partner brands—while ensuring consistency, clarity, and creativity across all platforms. This is not an entry-level position. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in professional video production and editing, social media management, content marketing, and live broadcasting. You must thrive in a fast-paced, multi-brand environment with minimal supervision, high accountability, and a strong creative vision.
Your basic duties will include
Key Responsibilities:Social Media & Digital Content Management
•Manage and grow multiple social media accounts across our brands and partner brands.
•Understand each brand’s unique voice and target audience to ensure appropriate and engaging content is shared.
•Develop and maintain a strategic content calendar, posting multiple times per week—or daily—across platforms.
•Write and design original content that aligns with brand identity and marketing objectives.
•Engage actively with followers, clients, and other brands—responding to messages, comments, and mentions promptly.
•Monitor performance analytics and adjust strategies to drive growth and engagement.
•Maintain and update websites and digital storefronts, ensuring content is fresh, user-friendly, and visually appealing.
Email Marketing & Communications
•Build and execute targeted email campaigns using platforms such as Mailchimp, Constant Contact, or similar.
•Maintain and segment contact lists to ensure accurate and effective audience targeting.
•Create proactive communication campaigns that provide updates, promotions, and brand news to customers and partners.
•Write clear, concise, and impactful email content that drives engagement and conversion.
Videography, Video Editing & Live Broadcasting
•Produce professional-grade video content—this includes filming, editing, and post-production for both internal and client-facing use.
•Deliver high-quality video assets for social media, websites, corporate communications, schools, sports organizations, and partner campaigns.
•Take full ownership of live video production, including live streaming and broadcasting for events such as school functions, sports games, corporate PSAs, and other client projects.
•Set up and manage professional camera, lighting, and audio equipment; ensure technical excellence in every shoot.
•Execute post-production tasks including color correction, audio mixing, motion graphics, and final delivery in multiple formats.
•Work directly with clients and internal teams to plan and meet project goals—delivering ahead of deadlines with clear communication.
•Maintain equipment and oversee video production logistics to ensure a seamless workflow.
Other Responsibilities
•Occasionally assist at events as a Photo Booth attendant or other support roles, as needed.
•Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop new marketing initiatives and improve digital engagement.
•Bring new creative ideas and solutions to the table—helping the team stay ahead of trends and industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
•Proven experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, and high-end multimedia content creation.
•Advanced skills in videography and video editing using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
•Experience in live video production and streaming; ability to troubleshoot and operate multi-camera setups and audio/video systems.
•Strong writing skills with a grasp of tone, branding, and audience engagement.
•Familiarity with email marketing platforms
•Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects, brands, and timelines with minimal oversight.
•Strong initiative, problem-solving ability, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Flexible schedule and willingness to attend on-site events, sometimes outside standard work hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Degree or certification in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Production, or a related field.
•Experience in education, sports media, or corporate communications.
•Understanding of SEO, digital advertising, and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
•Basic photography skills and experience using DSLR/mirrorless cameras.
Compensation:
•Following training, contractor will earn hourly rate as described
•Starting pay ranges from $22.50 up to $27.50/hr based on skill, work ethic, reliability, etc. 1099
