We are seeking a Project Manager Site Coordinator based in Cameron, LA. This role will report to the Project Manager / Construction Manager.
Position Overview
The Project Manager / Construction Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish. The Project Manager Coordinator serves as the link between the office, field, subcontractors, and clients—coordinating technical aspects, managing documentation, monitoring progress, and supporting site operations to ensure quality, safety, budget, and schedule compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination & Documentation
- Manage contractors by preparing and maintaining project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
- Maintain project documentation including RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, and facilitate coordination meetings.
- Track and manage procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Coordinate with engineers and consultants for design clarifications and approvals.
- Serve as liaison between the field and the site leadership team.
- Monitor daily construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and field conflicts in a timely manner.
- Enforce company safety policies and ensure adherence to OSHA and project-specific safety requirements.
- Conduct site inspections to verify workmanship, materials, and compliance with codes and standards.
- Document quality control checks and ensure corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Monitor progress against the construction schedule and assist in developing recovery plans if delays occur.

- Split time between the construction site and office.
- Requires wearing appropriate PPE at all times on site.
- May involve extended hours to meet project deadlines.
- Track quantities, costs, and resource usage to ensure budget adherence.
- Assist in evaluating subcontractor performance and approving progress payments.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2–5 years of experience in construction project coordination or engineering roles.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
