We are seeking a motivated and skilled Shop Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a wide range of offshore service equipment. Your expertise will ensure that equipment operates efficiently and safely, supporting our commitment to quality service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities

- Conduct inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on electric and diesel equipment.

- Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, engine maintenance and hydraulic system troubleshooting.

- Utilize OEM manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.

- Operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment and heavy lifting devices safely and effectively.

- Assemble new equipment components and perform quality checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.

- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection logs for all performed tasks.

- Support customer service efforts by providing clear communication regarding repair status and recommended maintenance.

Qualifications

- Proven experience working as a mechanic or service technician in an industrial setting.

- Strong mechanical knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrical components.

- Hands-on experience with fabrication, welding and equipment assembly.

- Familiarity with schematics, OEM manuals, and diagnostic tools for machinery repair.

- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, mechanical diagnostics and the ability to follow maintenance procedures.

- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong attention to detail and safety protocols.

- Customer service orientation with effective communication skills to assist clients professionally. Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
