- Location: Midland/Odessa, TX

- Reports To: Service Manager

- Department: Operations – Power Generation

- Status: Full-Time, On-Site

Position Summary

The Shop Foreman is a mission-critical leader responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the NGPS generator maintenance shop, ensuring our power fleet is serviced, repaired, and deployed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role drives operational excellence, maintains standards of workmanship, and ensures the highest levels of reliability across our generator fleet to support micro-grid operations in the Permian Basin.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee daily shop operations and ensure timely completion of maintenance and repairs.

- Prioritize, assign, and track work orders including PMs, troubleshooting, and major repairs.

- Supervise and mentor technicians while enforcing NGPS safety and quality standards.

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control-system issues on natural-gas generators.

- Manage parts inventory, vendor coordination, and critical spares.

- Perform final QA checks before equipment dispatch.

- Track and report shop KPIs such as PM completion, downtime, turnaround time, and cost metrics.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years in generator maintenance, heavy equipment mechanics, or oilfield power equipment.

- 2+ years of supervisory or lead technician experience.

- Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills.

- Proficiency with maintenance software/ERP systems.

- Knowledge of LOTO, HSE protocols, and DOT compliance.

- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Preferred Experience

- Experience with natural-gas power generation or micro-grid equipment.

- Understanding of fuel systems, emissions systems, and switchgear.

- Ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot control panels.
