Shipping and Receiving Technicians are responsible for accurately processing incoming and outgoing shipments and performing various daily warehouse activities
Responsibilities:
•Complete pick list requirements for customers daily
•Band, package, check, and load shipments per bill of lading and customer requirements
•Verify shipping part IDs, quantities, heat numbers, box and skid counts are consistent with BOL
•Unload incoming shipments of raw materials, packaging, etc.
•Verify incoming shipment paperwork and sign receivers
•Verify material incoming to stock and transfer within ERP as needed
•Maintain clean and safe work area
•Move physically boxes and bundles of finished goods or raw material safely
•Perform quality checks and tag coils and skids of incoming raw material
•Stage work centers as production schedule requires
•Tag nonconforming raw materials as necessary
Skills & Qualifications:
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Ability to multitask, prioritize, and execute tasks accurately in a fast-paced environment
•Forklift operation experience preferred
•High school diploma or GED, required.
•1-2 years of experience in shipping or logistics preferred
•Basic Microsoft Office Suite experience
•Ability to stand, bend, stretch, and twist and lift 40lb on a routine basis

Experience
Required* 1 year(s): Forklift operation experience preferred
