The position of Shipping and Receiving, receives inbound material, consumables, accurately
stages, and loads outbound finished goods.
The position of Crane Operator is responsible for all operating functions as listed below.
Operation of Forklifts and Overhead Cranes must be understood in total.
All standard work instructions (SWI) must be followed as outlined.
1. Directs all carriers to appropriate bay or dock for shipping or receiving of Flat Product
(FP), Long Product (LP), and consumables
2. Inspect inbound material, and consumables for damage, and accuracy. Report issues with
material to Plant or Office supervisor for disposition.
3. Park material FP, LP, with barcode scanner (BRC), park consumables in proper location
per 6S.
4. Responsible for accurate location of all inventory, and relocating with BRC when
material moves.
5. Ensure all shipping and receiving paperwork is turned in.
6. Stage material for shipment, verifying proper labeling, packaging, and inspecting for
damage. Report issues with material to Plant or Office supervisor for disposition.
7. Verify outbound material with BRC scanner, Bill of Lading, and Shipping tags.
8. Perform all Housekeeping/Maintenance functions as assigned.
9. Maintain 6S standard
1. Other duties as assigned
2. Participation in relevant continuous improvement programs.
3. Assist with packaging material for shipment.
4. Assist with pulling, prepping, and loading coils on processing lines.
Minimum of a High School Degree or Equivalent (GED)
Mobility in plant
While performing the duties of (this job), the employee is regularly required to sit, stand,
walk, etc.
The employee is frequently required to make use of their hands for technical tasks
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
1. Work in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations

e. Respirators; the respirator requires you to be clean shaven in order to comply with
company policies and procedures as well as OSHA Regulations.
f. Fire Retardant clothing
g. Acid PPE
5. Report to the Safety Coordinator, Group Lead or Supervisor any contravention of the
Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations or Company policy
6. Must follow all Lock out Tag out (LOTO) guidelines for designated machines
7. Must follow all Environmental Policies and Regulations
8. Maintain a clean and safe work area
