SUMMARY OF POSITION

The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator position is an essential role to the Gateway team. The role requires detailed responsibility to visually inspect and record all incoming/outgoing shipments and corresponding shipping labels and shipping documents. Basic forklift operation is a requirement. The candidate is required to administer paperwork and manage accurate shipping data and stock inventory.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•

Ensuring all inventory leaving/entering Gateway BOP has appropriate paperwork,

•

Responds to customers via in person, telephone, or electronically in a timely and courteous manner; delivers strong service and salesmanship through all communication channels,

•

Actively monitor material organization, stocking levels, & accuracy and organization in the stock room,

•

Diligently follow Checklists, policies, processes & procedures,

•

Maintain a safe & positive work environment,

KEY REQUIREMENTS

•

Prior Forklift Operator experience - REQUIRED,

•

Minimum Grade 12 Education | Prior experience is an asset,

•

Permanent resident of Canada,

•

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,

•

Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, problem-solving and attention to detail,

•

Valid Class 5 drivers license - REQUIRED,

•

Able to deal with changes, delays, or unexpected events in a professional & timely manner,

•

Ability to work independently and as a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $28.00 per hour
