Perform diversified tasks related to shipping/receiving. Store and dispatch to job sites of material, tools, equipment, and products at the facility.
Unloads and loads trucks. Uncrates or unpacks items upon delivery to the facility. Inspects items for shipping damages, check items and accompanying paperwork against the purchase order or work order.
Marks items and materials with applicable identification numbers, i.e.: PO, job, part numbers, and place on racks, shelves, or bins, recording exact location on copy of purchase order.
Fills materials request for work orders, sales orders, tools or other stock items and distributes items to appropriate location either by hand or forklift.
Ensures all quality documents go to QC with copy of purchase order and job number.
Prepares materials for shipment according to shop order notifications or other specifications.
Packs or crates materials for both domestic and international shipments according to OSI or customer specifications.
Perform all tasks as required of a Safety Sensitive position.
Preferred* Minimum of six months prior warehouse experience in a similar industry and a basic understanding of general inventory storage technology and procedures
