Job Summary
Viacore Regina is looking for a shipping and receiving coordinator to join its team. We’re looking for a person to Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipping. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.
Main Responsibilities:
•Ship and receive all parts and materials as required,
•Update status of inbound and outbound orders in ERP system,
•Update data such as weight, quality, and timeliness for shipping and receiving,
•Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy.
•Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials. Contact carrier to obtain quotes, make arrangements,
•Resolve discrepancies between orders and goods, such as delays, condition, weight, quality, etc.
•Coordinate packing and shipping of all goods, including assembling packages, preparing materials for shipping using hand tools, power tools, postage meter, or shipping terminal, as well as weighing them, and tracking costs,
•Maintain inventory of incoming, stored, and outgoing goods, as well as current space available Deliver or route materials to departments using forklifts, dollies, or wheelcart.
•Select and coordinate carriers as requested by the customer or as necessary to fulfill special requirements of the customer for materials to be shipped.
•Receive & tag incoming products accurately and in a timely manner, scan to the proper location. Responsible for making sure all shipments are picked up daily
•Order shipping supplies as required,
•Perform general housekeeping tasks within the shipping & receiving area
•Perform general duties, and assist production team as required.
•Assist and support management with ISO guidelines, instructions, and creating new ISO guidelines as needed.
•Deliver or pick up goods when necessary
•Ensure vehicles, warehouse and yard are secured at end of each day

· Mechanical aptitude – able to operate tools and equipment necessary in the performance of shipping/receiving duties.

Required Education, Certification & Experience:
Education: High School Graduate or GED: Required
Experience: Minimum one year of experience in a shipping/receiving role, in an industrial business, ideally within the same or related industry.
Certification & Licenses:
· Forklift certified (will train if necessary)
· Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG)
· Valid Driver’s License
Computer Skills: Candidate must be able to operate office equipment and must have a working knowledge of personal computers in a Windows environment, including Excel, Word, and various windows-based programs
