The Shipping Coordinator at Armstrong International is responsible for managing and coordinating the shipping activities to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. This role involves preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, and ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.
- Coordinate and manage daily shipping activities to ensure on-time delivery.
- Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
- Schedule shipments with carriers and ensure proper documentation and labeling of shipments.
- Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to arrange and confirm shipment details.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as production, sales, and customer service to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
- Address and resolve any shipping issues or discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure the availability of products for shipment.
- Coordinate with the warehouse team to manage inventory and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile any discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with all shipping regulations and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date shipping records and documentation.
- Prepare and submit shipping reports to management.
- Willingness to learn or train in the position.
- Must have the physical and mental stamina to stand, walk, lift, and adjust to the noise and lighting of the manufacturing environment.

- Strong understanding of shipping processes, regulations, and documentation requirements.
- Proficiency in using shipping software and tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods.
