Shipping Coordinator-1st Shift

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Shipping Coordinator will work under direct supervision to load outbound shipments for customer delivery. This individual will inspect shipments for damage, verify quantities, and address any discrepancies, ensuring adherence to United Alloy’s Master Document system.

SUMMARY

This position involves loading outbound shipments, inspecting for damage, verifying quantities, and addressing discrepancies. Attention to detail, proper packaging methods, and effective communication are essential.

Reports To: Supply Chain Supervisor

SHIFT/HOURS

Monday-Friday 6am-2pm (OT as required)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, stoop, pull, push, assemble, and carry for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with an assist.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Ability to perform in a manufacturing environment that may have high noise levels, dust, chemicals, oil, and grease. Ability to work in an environment that may be either hot, cold, or humid.
