Shipping and Receiving Coordinator

Role and Responsibilities

Job Summary:

In this critical role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our shipping and receiving operations. You will manage out bound and inbound shipments to ensure timely, cost-effective, and secure delivery of our products to customers around the world.

- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks

- Develop and implement a comprehensive shipping strategy, optimizing delivery routes and carrier selection.

- Follow strict shipping instructions established by contracts or POs.

- Inspect all shipments are up to Cvi quality standards.

- Receive all in bound shipments and check the quality of the product is up to CVI standards.

- Stock inventory shelves after parts have been received.

- Ensure adherence to all shipping regulations and compliance standards.

- Proactively identify and resolve shipping issues to minimize delays and disruptions.

- Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, inventory, and production, to ensure seamless shipping.

- Performs other duties assigned.

- Must be able to drive a forklift

Physical Requirements:

- Must be able to lift 50Lbs.

- Must be able to safely climb onto and off trucks and trailers to inspect cargo, assist with loading/unloading, and secure shipments. This includes the ability to navigate elevated surfaces, maintain balance, and perform tasks at varying heights in outdoor environments. Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
