Shipping and Receiving Specialist

Shipping and Receiving Specialist receives goods into the facility, performs initial inspection of goods, properly assigns stock location and organization, and can pull and ship goods as required in a timely manner.

- Receive parts and perform initial inspection (physical count, general appearance, etc.) and put in inventory

- Receive incoming equipment and determine notification protocol

- Helps to resolve discrepancies and/or issues on incoming material

- Assist with packing, shipping, inspection and cleaning of equipment when idle

- Help throughout shop on builds and special tasks when there are no orders

- Work with shop personnel to support preventative maintenance efforts as workload allows

- Support required cycle counts and annual inventory process

Qualifications

- Two or more years of shipping and receiving work experience.

- Working knowledge of warehouse system inventory meanings and locations

- Experience in safe operation of warehouse equipment

- Ability to work independently and collaborate with others as needed

- Must have strong computer skills in Visibility and Microsoft applications

- Should have ability to resolve problems when needed

- Should have desire to develop others, as needed, to support common goals
