As a Shipper/Receiver at CIMS LP, you will be a key contributor towards CIMS success by organizing all logistics needs for tool cribs and LTL/FTL shipments of tools and equipment to and from CIMS job sites while embodying CIMS corporate values of Our People, Our Promise, Our Passion.
You will report to the Warehouse Coordinator and be accountable for:
- Preparing, shipping and receiving shipments to and from the Port Coquitlam warehouse, including the loading or unloading of FTL/LTL.
- Accurately preparing a bill of landing or waybill to ensure shipment reaches desired destination.
- Receiving purchase orders, both physically and through CIMS’ ERP system.
- Completing routine cycle counts of inventory items
- Preparing tool cribs for shipping by checking insurance and CVI.
A successful candidate would be an individual who has:
- A minimum of 1-2 years of related experience in shipping and receiving.
- The ability to operate powered mobile equipment such as electric and propane forklifts.
- A valid driver’s license.
Working conditions you can expect while performing your role include:
- A warehouse environment.
- Repetitive movement and lifting; frequent standing and walking are required.
- The requirement to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to hazardous materials or environments.
