As a Senior Structural Engineer & Tam Lead, you’ll own the delivery of complex projects, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and mentor junior engineers. Beyond technical delivery, you’ll influence firm standards, enhance team capabilities, and support growth initiatives.
- Lead multiple projects concurrently from concept through construction
- Provide technical oversight and mentorship to engineers and REVIT/CAD staff
- Review shop drawings, conduct site visits, and resolve construction-phase challenges
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors to deliver integrated solutions
- Represent the firm in client meetings, design reviews, and construction activities
- Support proposals, business development, and client relationships
- Contribute to refining internal processes, technical standards, and quality control
- Fully own structural delivery of multiple low- to mid-rise projects
- Establish credibility as a trusted technical leader
- Mentor intermediate and junior engineers, improving team confidence and technical quality
- Drive efficiency and value through sound engineering judgment and constructability awareness
- Support proposals and client pursuits aligned with firm growth strategy
- Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, P.Eng. in Ontario
- 8+ years’ experience delivering diverse building projects- Strong leadership, project management, and mentoring skills
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high standards
- Knowledge of structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, MASS); Revit/AutoCAD a plus
- Clear, confident communication with clients, teams, and stakeholders
- Strong judgment balancing technical excellence, cost, and constructability
