Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee large-scale energy retrofit projects, with a focus on heat pump installations across Ontario and the United States. This role is ideal for a strong project leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage complex multi-phase projects, and is confident overseeing high-value multi-projects exceeding $10MM+

Key Responsibilities

Program & Project Leadership

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale retrofit and heat pump projects from initiation through completion

- Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment with program goals, timelines, budgets, and client expectations

- Oversee project budgets, including multi-projects exceeding $10MM+

- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks, reporting structures, and performance metrics

- Identify project risks and implement proactive mitigation strategies

- Develop project charters, integrated project plans, schedules, and comprehensive project documentation

Team Leadership & Development

- Mentor and support junior and intermediate Project Coordinators

- Provide guidance on project execution, problem-solving, client communication, and stakeholder management

- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance team environment

Technical Oversight & Compliance

- Review and validate technical analysis, functional servicing reports, engineering documentation, and project records

- Ensure projects comply with applicable codes, standards, utility program requirements, and municipal/regulatory requirements

- Work closely with internal teams, field staff, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve technical and operational challenges

Stakeholder & Client Management

- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, consultants, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities

- Manage client expectations, provide regular project updates, and ensure high levels of client satisfaction

- Coordinate across internal departments, subcontractors, utility/program partners, and external stakeholders

Qualifications & Experience

- 7+ years of experience in project/program management, preferably in HVAC, energy retrofit, construction, or building services - Proven experience managing high-value multi-projects exceeding $10MM+

- Strong ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, budgets, and client relationships simultaneously

- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-driven environment

- Strong understanding of heat pump systems, building retrofits, HVAC, or energy efficiency programs is an asset

- Experience working with regulatory bodies, utility programs, government-funded programs, or municipal requirements is preferred

- Demonstrated leadership experience managing, coaching, or mentoring project teams

- PMP certification or equivalent is preferred

- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, problem-solving, and collaboration skills

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
