Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Duties
•Lead project planning sessions to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
•Develop comprehensive project plans that outline tasks, timelines, and resource allocation.
•Monitor project progress and performance using earned value management techniques.
•Facilitate communication between stakeholders and team members to ensure alignment on project goals.
•Utilize project management tools such as Confluence and Basecamp for documentation and tracking.
•Implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency and reduce waste in project processes.
•Supervise project teams, providing guidance and support to ensure successful execution of tasks.
•Conduct regular status meetings to present updates on project milestones and address any challenges.
•Manage risks by identifying potential issues early and developing mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
•Proven experience in project portfolio management with a strong understanding of IT project management principles.
•Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies, including program management best practices.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply earned value management techniques effectively.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to present information clearly to various audiences.
•Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment.
•Relevant certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are preferred but not required.
