Equilibrium Mining is seeking Senior Hydrogeologists / Hydrogeological Engineers to support our dynamic and growing team. - Develop and foster new and existing client relationships
- Develop business and deliver projects in a team environment
- Train and mentor intermediate staff; may include field-based training as appropriate
- Design and oversee field projects with complicated programs
- Collaborate with physical and modelling hydrogeology team members
- Develop hydrogeologic conceptual models and work with established groundwater modelling team on model inputs and outputs.
- Geological and hydrogeological data analyses, including aquifer testing and packer testing
- Basic groundwater chemistry assessment
- Help build and develop the hydrogeology team and skill sets
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (Hydrogeology, Geological or Environmental Engineering, or equivalent qualifications or experience)
- 15 + years of relevant experience- Exposure to Leapfrog or other visualization software (Surfer, CAD, etc) to help in conceptual model development
- Exposure to any or all of the following: Contaminant fate and transport, Physical hydrogeology, Deep borehole testing and sampling methodologies, Exploration hydrogeology, Operational hydrogeology, Closure hydrogeology
Full-time position (37.5 hrs per week), $145,000-$200,000 CAD / year.
