Today, our new 20,000 square-foot facility and over 100 employees is located in Woodbury, New York. Our modern headquarters houses our management and administrative staff, and serves as a warehouse and staff training facility.

We are currently seeking a Senior HVAC Plan and Spec Estimator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Review and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications for HVAC systems.

Prepare estimate costs inclusive of equipment, sheet metal, piping, insulation, and controls for commercial HVAC projects.

Collaborate with project managers, vendors and subcontractors as well as field teams to ensure accurate estimates.

Maintain a high level of accuracy in cost calculations.

Prepare proposals to send out to clients.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 4 years of experience in HVAC estimating.

Ability to read and decipher mechanical drawings and specifications.

Strong understanding of commercial HVAC systems, including sheet metal, piping, insulation, and controls.

Proven experience in estimating HVAC projects with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
