Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, with the ability to work effectively in both residential and commercial environments. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.
Duties
•
Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
•
Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting of HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance.
•
Collaborate with construction management teams on new installations and renovations at construction sites.
•
Provide accurate construction estimating for HVAC projects, ensuring cost control measures are adhered to.
•
Manage project timelines effectively, ensuring that all tasks are completed on schedule.
•
Utilize software tools such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam for project management and documentation.
•
Communicate with clients regarding system performance, maintenance needs, and service options.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role within the construction industry.
•
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, construction management principles, and project management practices.
•
Familiarity with construction estimating processes and cost control measures.
•
Proficient in using software tools such as HeavyBid for bidding processes and Bluebeam for project documentation.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•
Relevant certifications or licenses in HVAC technology are preferred but not mandatory.
