BKV Corporation needs a Senior Environmental Specialist
to serve as technical expert and field leader for growing midstream infrastructure and carbon capture operations. Work independently, interface directly with regulators, and shape environmental programs from the ground up.

Air quality compliance→ Prepare/submit Title IV permits, manage GHG and Quad O reporting, conduct applicability determinations
✅
Field environmental programs→ SPCC, stormwater, waste management, soil/groundwater remediation across Texas facilities
✅
Regulatory interface→ Be the face of BKV during TCEQ, RRC, and federal inspections and enforcement matters
✅
CCUS operations support→ Contribute to dCarbon's environmental strategy as projects scale
✅
Consultant oversight→ Manage third-party permitting, sampling, and remediation work
✅
Drive continuous improvement→ Identify compliance risks before they become problems
Travel:
Up to 20% within Texas (primarily day trips)
- 6-10 years
in oil & gas midstream environmental compliance (gathering, processing, compression)
- Hands-on Title IV air permitting
→ You've prepared and submitted permits, not just reviewed them
- Field leader mentality
→ Make compliance calls independently; thrive without constant oversight
- Texas regulatory fluency
→ Working knowledge of TCEQ, Railroad Commission, federal programs
- Broad environmental skillset
→ SPCC, stormwater, waste management, remediation experience
- Initiative-driven

- Injection well regulatory experience (Class VI, UIC) → Team is learning this together
- CCUS project exposure
- Professional certifications (CEP, CHMM)
Education:
Bachelor's in Environmental Engineering/Science or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered)
