- Conduct electrical testing including voltage verification, continuity checks, system performance analysis, and basic commissioning

- Ensure all electrical work meets company specifications, quality standards, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and local jurisdictional requirements

- Manage on-site material organization, equipment readiness, and ensure job sites are clean, safe, and properly staged for work

- Maintain detailed records of installation progress, including photos, reports, and system documentation

- Communicate effectively with project managers, operations teams, and homeowners regarding project status and expectations

- Supervise installation teams onsite, provide mentorship to junior electricians and helpers, and maintain a culture of safety, efficiency, and professionalism

- Uphold all company policies and lead by example in following safety regulations and protocols

- Keep company vehicles well-maintained, fully stocked, and properly serviced

- Follow all safety regulations and policies to ensure a safe working environment

- Adhere to all of Lumina’s company policies and ensure that all safety protocols are followed

- Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall project success

On your first day, we'll expect you to have:

- Must have at least 3 years of recent residential electrical experience; solar experience is a plus

- Master’s or Journeyman license (Candidates who do not currently hold the license but are actively willing to pursue and obtain it are encouraged to apply)

- Experience training and mentoring junior team members

- Ability to troubleshoot electrical installation projects

- Familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC)

- Ability to read and interpret Electrical line drawings

- Ability to read building plans and equipment manuals

- Proficiency in safely handling power and hand tools, as well as materials such as ladders, inverters, solar panels, panel boards, batteries, lumber, and roofing materials

- Capability to climb ladders, work on sloped roofs in all weather conditions, and stand for extended periods

- Experience and comfort working in attics and confined spaces

- Ability to lift 75 pounds repeatedly

- Must be proficient in the use of smartphones and tablets, utilizing them effectively for communication, accessing job-related apps and software, documenting work progress, and staying connected with team members and supervisors as required
