Overview: Job Summary:

The primary responsibilities of the Senior Accountant are to actively participate in the monthly close, drive automation and process improvements, while supporting a strong internal controls system. The Senior Accountant will interface with Trading Group Personnel as well as the assigned Manufacturing location(s) to ensure accurate financials are provided that are in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and that meet the requirements of the management team. Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial close responsibilities including preparing and posting journal entries, completing account reconciliations and preparing financial reports in accordance with internal and external deadlines
Consolidations and fixed assets.
Maintain the company’s system of accounts and keeps books and records on all company transactions and assets
Assist with financial planning activities including budgeting and forecasting
Assist with tax return preparation
Drives documentation of processes and procedures to support a strong internal controls environment
Assists in the provision of information to external auditors for annual financial statement and compliance audits
Partners with the Controller, and CFO to provide Company Executives with analysis and support

Qualifications: Ideal Candidate Will Have:Education* Required: Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance

Experience* 3+ years of Finance or Accounting experience; 5+ years is preferred

Other required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* Strong knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls

Ability to thrive as a motivated self-starter in a fast-paced, growing environment
Possess a continuous improvement mindset
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
Strong organizational skills, and ability to effectively disseminate information clearly and concisely
Flexible and driven to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple projects and prioritize them appropriately

Demonstrated ability to problem solve, influence others and effect change
Possess the highest level of integrity; serving as a trusted advisor to customers and colleagues
Proficient in Microsoft Office - includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams
Must be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorships are not available

The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
