Senior Civil / Structural Engineer

TENG Inc. is a fast growing, medium-size engineering consultant company providing engineering and project management services to multiple industry sectors. Our company has an immediate need for a Senior Civil/Structural Engineer.

The successful candidate will provide engineering guidance, review, and mentorship. In this role, the candidate will be required to have a Bachelor of Engineering in civil engineering. A minimum of 15 years’ experience is needed. The employee must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the Oil & Gas Industry.

Education: Bachelor of Engineering in civil engineering

Years of Experience: 15 + years’ experience with experience in the Oil & Gas Industry

Refinery Experience: direct field experience is required

Hybrid: 1-2 days per week in office, site expectations required, home office

Key Responsibilities

- Provide supervision, guidance, and mentorship to engineers and technologist within the Civil/Structural department

- Provide QA/QC reviews on engineering packages

- Provide input into front-end scoping documents, cost, and schedule

- Prepare engineering calculations using Robot Structural Analysis software or similar

- Prepare engineering hand calculations as required

- Have a strong understanding of what good civil/structural AutoCAD drawings should look like

- Participate in and contribute to design reviews both internal and with clients

- Stamp drawings as required (Ontario Stamp is a minimum requirement – Alberta Stamp an asset)

- Perform site visits to gather existing site information

Pay: $110,000.00-$135,000.00 per year
