Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Accountant – Advisory Services to join our team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, hands-on professional who is passionate about helping construction-based clients improve their financial operations. You’ll work closely with clients to streamline their month-end close process, design actionable management reports, and provide strategic accounting support tailored to their needs.

Key Responsibilities

•

Lead and support clients with monthly close processes, including hands-on involvement or training internal teams.

•

Prepare and analyze financial reports to help clients maximize profitability.

•

Facilitate communication between field and office teams to improve operational efficiency.

•

Assist in annual budget preparation and perform monthly comparative analysis.

•

Design custom management reports and dashboards.

•

Provide consultation and support for construction accounting software selection and implementation.

•

Step in to temporarily fulfill accounting roles as needed (e.g., payroll, AR/AP, etc.).

•

Represent client interests in meetings with lenders, bonding agents, or other third parties.

Qualifications

•

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA-track preferred).

•

3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or professional services.

•

Strong understanding of month-end close processes and financial reporting.

•

Experience with construction accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Foundation, etc.).

•

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both accounting and operations personnel.

•

Comfortable juggling multiple client relationships and priorities.

•

Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment in fast-paced environments.
