Overview of the role


Why we’re looking for you

We are looking for Senior Account Executives to join our growing revenue team. This role is best suited for people who are passionate about helping oil & gas, have a track record of sales excellence, and are committed to building trusting relationships with producers, receivers and transporters.

This opportunity is all about connection and collaboration! It requires being in the office 5 days a week at our Calgary office.


The impact you will have

- Generate leads and new business opportunities through various channels like cold calling, texting, events, and social media

- Explore innovative ways to engage with passive leads and reintroduce them into our sales process

- Proactively engage with cold leads and maintain clear and concise communication throughout the lead nurturing process

- Qualify potential leads and ensure they are a great fit for Galatea’s products and services

- Work closely with your team to improve the outbound strategy, sharing ideas that can help shape our overall sales approach

- Continuously learn by collaborating with the sales team, sales leaders, and cross-functional team members

- Go above and beyond delivering your quota to help your teammates and the company succeed

- Building, executing and winning sales pipeline to support the organization as we reach our new targets

- You love going after the larger companies that change the trajectory of our organization

30 / 60 / 90 day Objectives & Key Results


30 Day

Objective : Learn our people, customers, systems, and tools.

Key Result : Be comfortable working within our existing process.


60 Day

Objective : Understand the problem our prospects experience and how we solve and add value

Key Result : Be able to have a conversation with a client on how they use our app and make suggestions about how they can unlock more value.


90 Day

Objective : Begin outbound prospecting, demo, and supporting decision-making process

Key Result : Be comfortable with our clients and start to create plans and strategies on how our team can make them the rockstar!

Why It Matters To Us

- 6+ years of experience in full cycle sales: You’ve had experience selling in complex environments and know how to navigate multi-buyer cycles

- Consultative, customer-first sales approach with excellent communication skills

This might be the second piece of tech our buyers have purchased. Educating and informing is important. Guiding them through this process is paramount. You’ll be building long-term relationships


- History of personal and professional excellence

As a full cycle sales representative, Lots to do. Knowing how to stay on-top of it, is crucial.

- Experience with oil & gas (selling to or working in!) is a huge plus.

Living & Knowing the pain points is a major bonus.


Job Type: Full-time


Pay: $80,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
