Your Impact

As SEG Analyst, Process Analysis - Payroll, you will support the standardization and improvement of global payroll processes. By analyzing payroll workflows, data accuracy, and system efficiency, your insights will help ensure timely, compliant, and consistent payroll delivery across Newmont’s operations.

As Part of Our Team, You Will

- Analyze payroll processes to identify pain points and recommend improvements

- Support the documentation and testing of payroll process changes within ERP systems

- Collaborate on gap analyses and standardize payroll reporting and compliance structures

- Translate business and regional requirements into globally aligned payroll procedures

- Contribute to the development of payroll metrics and dashboards

- Partner with HR, Finance, and Digital teams to enhance automation and reporting

Prerequisites for Your Sucess in This Role

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, HR, or related field

- 2–4 years of experience supporting payroll operations, systems, or process improvement

- Familiarity with global or multi-country payroll practices and compliance considerations

- Hands-on experience with payroll systems or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP)

- Strong analytical and reporting skills (Excel, Power BI desirable)

- English fluency required; Spanish is a plus

Your Work Environment

- The preferred location for candidates is near our corporate headquarters, in Denver, Colorado; however highly qualified candidates near our regional offices, or any of our site locations, will be considered.

- Collaboration and interaction are expected with teams across the global, regional, and site organization as well as across other service and operational areas of Newmont across multiple time zones.

- The listed salary range applies to positions based in Colorado. Compensation may vary for candidates hired in other locations.

The salary range offered for this role is USD $89,760- 117,810. The salary range is tied to the Colorado market for jobs performed in Colorado. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience. This role will be eligible for participation in a discretionary annual bonus program, pursuant to which an employee may be awarded a percentage of their salary based on the company’s performance and their own individual performance.
