Under the direction of the Elmore Alloy Plant Manager and in accordance with Global Security guidelines, the Security and Facilities Manager is responsible for physical security of the Elmore and Lorain facilities as well as the Elmore Services Department. This role is expected to serve as the site FSO and is expected to be able to receive Top Secret Department of Energy Security Clearance. This includes but is not limited to, external and internal surveillance, monitoring, visitor management and access control, site investigations, and ensuring compliance with government customer security standards. This includes but is not limited to CMMC Level 3 and NIST SP 800-171 physical security aspects. This role will lead, direct, plan, and manage the contract and Materion Security personnel and Training and Services Supervisor operations. Facilitate the duties and tasks of the security officers and ensures all daily job requirements are fulfilled. Oversee Training and Services Supervisor to ensure duty requirements are fulfilled. Develop a gap analysis and gap closure plan for any nonconformances to required security standards.
The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction. Please understand that any job offer that requires approval of an export license will be conditional on Materion’s determination that it will be able to obtain an export license in a time frame consistent with Materion’s business requirements.
