Job Description:

POSITION PURPOSE

This temporary position provides administrative support for the plant site.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

- Provide general clerical/receptionist support such as answering incoming calls, greeting and directing visitors, maintaining a vendors / visitor log with arrival and departure times, routing and delivering mail, uploading and organizing documents, and file maintenance.

- Assist with running errands as assigned.

- Assist with other company functions, such as Family Night.

- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Assist with plant site tours for member systems, legislators, and education institutions.

- Assist with watering flowers.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

- Must be at least 18 years.

- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED or HSED).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Enrollment as a full-time student in a post-secondary degree program.

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

This position requires frequent sitting and standing/walking; and occasional reaching below and above shoulder level, use of keyboard/computer, bending/reaching, kneeling, lifting/carrying up to 50 pounds, and pushing/pulling up to 20 pounds. It also requires finger dexterity and hand coordination. This position requires good hearing and vision, and the ability to speak.

KEY SKILLS

- Proficient with personal computers and Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.

- Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills .

- Working knowledge of administrative functions of an organization.

It also requires the ability to develop plans, procedures and goals; present information to others; and work under stress to complete projects within deadlines.

Wage: $18 per hour
