Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver – For Grayling and West Branch Area

Fick and Sons, Inc. is hiring a Seasonal Propane Delivery Driver to support our team during our busy season. We are looking for a driver to support both our Grayling and West Branch Propane Office during our busy winter months. This position is responsible for the safe and timely delivery of propane to residential and commercial customers while providing friendly, professional service. This is a great opportunity for an experienced driver looking for seasonal work with a trusted, family-owned company.

Delivery

- Load tanker truck with Propane and deliver them to customers while adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.

- Operate tanker truck in accordance to Company policies and state/federal laws.

- Transport loads along required/best route to proper destination while observing all traffic laws and safety regulations.

- Complete and turn in all paperwork on a daily basis.

- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and pass random cleanliness inspections.

- Perform daily safety inspections on equipment and fill out Vehicle Inspection Report to be turned in with paperwork.

- Report any equipment malfunctions and/or concerns to the Manager or the garage.

- Have thorough knowledge of and the ability to use loading arms and pump at loading racks, use auxiliary pumps for loading and unloading of the vehicle, and use spill kits and fire extinguisher.

- Provide exceptional customer service

- Maintain a safe driving and injury record, ensuring compliance with DOT, OSHA, and CETP.

- Communicates professionally and effectively with team members, management, and customers.

Qualifications

- CETP Certified.

- Valid Michigan CDL (Class B) with air brakes, HAZMAT and tanker endorsements.

- Meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements.

- Pass substance abuse screening and agree to random substance abuse screening as required by Company Policy.

- Ability to perform the physical demands of the job such as lifting up to 100 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Base Pay: From $41,600.00 per year
